This multi-product processing line is designed to efficiently handle a wide variety of vegetables while ensuring gentle product handling and grading. The produce enters the line through a receiving hopper with an adjustable separator mounted on it, where soil, small debris, and loose materials are removed. It then passes to the washing machine for thorough cleaning before moving over a leaf separator which removes leaves, vines, sticks, roots, and loose dirt from produce flow.
The produce is then transported by an elevator, where it can follow one of two grading routes depending on the processing requirements. In the first route, the produce passes through a screen sizer to remove undersized and broken products before continuing to the inspection unit. It is then graded diametrically by the radial grader to achieve accurate size separation. Alternatively, the produce can be directed along a second route after the elevator, where it passes through an adjustable roller set, followed by a roller inspection unit for manual quality control. The produce is then graded according to square size by the shake grader. A sieve rack is integrated into the line, allowing quick and easy replacement of sieves for the shake grader, ensuring flexibility for different grading requirements. After grading, the different product grades are transported to their respective box fillers for gentle and efficient filling.
