​The washing machine effectively removes stones, clods, debris, and sludge from produce.

Product Information

The PDK range of washing machines are designed for potatoes that are grown on soil with a lot of clods and stones. The PDK type vegetable washing machine is particularly suitable for operating with an internal water recirculation system. Furthermore, this design extends the life of the following wash line systems, which ensures that only the intended product passes through to the next stages of the wash line.

The process starts with the infeed. After falling into the water, the product floats to a rotating drum. While the product floats, heavy stones and debris sink into a waste belt and are efficiently removed to protect the produce. The rotating drum transports the produce towards a product belt. During transportation, the produce is washed inside the drum using water. The vegetable wash line has a slurry chain under the machine. This slurry chain removes sludge from the bottom of the machine.
