An onion shaver is used to remove onion tails, ensuring premium product quality.
The onion shaver is designed to remove tails. When the valve opens, a batch of produce rolls down on a rotating round sieve. Below the sieve, there are rotating knives. These remove the tails from the produce, which falls down on a belt. Then the outfeed valve opens to let the produce roll out.
The onion shaver is suitable for both stand-alone and in-line applications and supports fully automatic operation. The enclosed housing ensures safe operation while also reducing noise and dust in the processing area.
