Adjustable separator DRE

The adjustable separator is used to pre-clean the produce. The produce moves over the rollers, while dirt and skins fall between the rollers.

Product Information

The adjustable separator is designed for efficient pre-cleaning of vegetables and produce, ensuring the removal of dirt, foliage, skins, and stones before further processing. As the product moves over the rollers, loose dirt and waste fall through the adjustable gaps between them.

The machine is equipped with a large spiral roller and a small stainless steel roller, where specially designed carriers guide dirt and foliage through the stainless steel rolls for optimal cleaning performance. Because of the hollow openings in the spiral rollers, stones can easily pass through as the rollers slightly deform. For larger stones, the stainless steel roller automatically moves forward to create additional space and returns to its original position once the stone has passed. The speed, gap, direction, and height of the stainless steel roller are fully adjustable, allowing precise control based on product requirements.

  • The gap size can be adjusted manually/automatically. The smaller (stainless steel AISI304) rollers can be adjusted up, down, forward, and backward in relation to the bigger (spiral) rollers
  • The gap size is adjustable between 5 mm and 32 mm
  • The hollow design of the spiral rollers allows them to flex slightly, enabling stones to pass through smoothly without interrupting the cleaning process
  • The last roller can be made from stainless steel AISI304 or PU spiral
  • On demand a frequency inverter can be included to control the speed
