The onion topper is designed to remove tail and foliage from produce.

The onion topper is designed to remove tail and foliage from produce. The produce is transported and rotated over twisted rollers resulting in the cutting of tails. The waste from the topper is collected under the roller bed over the waste conveyor or in a directed inbox via the chute.
The onion topper RT can handle main crop onions, short day onions, beetroot, and some varieties of garlic.
Allround standard onion topper RT comes with a frame made up of mild steel and hardened mild steel twisted roller, bearing, and idle/drive rollers of mild steel. However, on demand, frame and twisted rollers can be made of stainless steel AISI304 but bearings and drive/idle rollers are from mild steel.
If required, the onion topper RT can be on the subframe to accommodate the height difference. The subframe can be made from painted mild steel, stainless steel AISI304, and galvanized steel. The height of the subframe can be varies from 0-7 meters.
